The City of Edmonton's Transit On Demand. How Does it Work?
The City of Edmonton On Demand Transit Service has been established throughout communities for years, including those that are new, established, big, boutique and in between. The transit service allows residents of communities such as Glenridding Ravine, located in southwest Edmonton, along the beautiful Whitemud Creek Ravine, to stay connected to convenience, nearby amenities, necessities, friends and family.
What is the City of Edmonton's Transit On Demand Service?
On Demand Transit Service connects Edmontonians across the city to the massive, established Edmonton transit network, including residents of communities, proudly developed by Anthem. The On Demand service provides a new layer of service to communities and areas where bus service currently doesn’t reach.
On Demand Transit Service is safe, fast, convenient and reliable. A huge benefit to the service is, that it is offered during peak and off peak service hours, including weekends.
How Does On Demand Transit Work?
With the ETS service, you can book a ride from a designated pick up location in your neighbourhood or from one of Edmonton’s many designated transit hubs. Simply book a ride on the On Demand Transit app, or call 780-496-2400. You can book a ride in as little as 60 minutes before you need to leave. It’s great if plans change at a moment’s notice.
